All SW members must attend at least one meeting per quarter (every 3 months) or be asked to resign. Exceptions may be requested in advance and agreed to by the other members. Mary Turner, who now lives in Delaware, asked for an exception to the attendance rule by e-mail and the attending members agreed.

All SW members must submit at least one story ("Story" for our purposes means a short story, chapter of a longer work, poem, song lyric, or non-fiction article.) every six months for critiquing by the group, or be asked to resign. Submissions may be on paper or by e-mail. Exceptions may be requested in advance and agreed to by the other members.

Judy Friedl volunteered to keep track of meeting times, attendance, and submissions and the attending members agreed.
