yes true mike would give the CBS orchestra a real kick in the ass. Not
saying that Anton Fig isn't good, he's one of my favorite players. I
think MP would be able to show anton a thing or two. maybe a mass
mailing of jammers to the late show could make it happen or then again
    it's always nice to dream.

Don't forsee it happening this is one of the few bands left that

Nooooooooooo!!!! Don't dub Kev's demos. That's evil. If you want one,
get it from Kevin himself so that he gets the money for it and stuff.
Don't you think that makes more sense?

Actually, I think he means the Kevin Moore Demo tape, and NOT ChromaKey...
He mentioned he tried getting them from dub sites, but got no response --sounds
like the Airdance tape tree with Kevs first three demo tapes that he gave
us to distribute. I used to be one of the dubbers, but not anymore.

    _________

Since I upgraded to Win95 (almost a year now) I've had a problem with my
    Soundblaster AWE 32 card....basically, I lost the disks....and I was forced
to use Microsoft's built in drivers for the SBAWE32...... BIG
MISTAKE.....the card NEVER plays or records wav files correctly....

Basically, I'm fed up and cant go on using the outdated drivers that
MicroSlop clusterfucked on...and I cant justify paying money to Creative
Labs for updates (can you believe they ask money for the fucking drivers??)

If anyone has a SoundBlaster AWE 32 that was released post October

Yeah, but I REALLY doubt that the Chicago radio market is typical of other
radio markets across the country. Hell, there's even an all-metal station
in Chicago (Rebel Radio). How often do you see that anymore? 103.5 is
also a pretty decent station. For a big, commercial station, their
playlist isn't too bad at all. I come from Bakersfield, Calif., where the
radio stations all suck. I go to school in Berkeley, Calif., where the
radio stations also suck (yes, even the San Francisco ones). (THANK GOD
FOR COLLEGE RADIO!!!!!) I also spent summer '95 in Houston (humidity
sucks, too) and I remember there were 3 rock stations and they all sucked.
So, outside of New York and Chicago, I'd be surprised if Rush got a lot
    of airplay anywhere.

Oops. Easy for me to see how this could happen, though. My e-mail
account has a quota of 0.5 megs (that goes by REAL quick!) and I actually
have to watch it closely now because a sudden influx of messages (like 7
Jams in a day) would send me over the limit.

well, since i'm the guy in question, lemme tell you.

i'm dubbing the "music meant to be heard" demos, not the
chromakey stuff. my reasoning is this: since kevin's distributing the
chromakey stuff himself, i don't feel it morally right of me to take his
profits away. the MMtbH stuff is _FOR_ the jammers to have, so hey,
since i have it, i might has well dub the damn things.

            so there. :)

Um, not to burst your bubble, but if you watch replays of the
4th Russian goal, you'll notice that there are 6 Russian skaters on
the ice after it is scored. Canada was not serving a penalty at the
time, therefore the goal is automatically called back.

Sorry Swede, but this tourney is being played under NHL rules, and
in NHL rules if a player slides into the net knocking it off the moorings
before the buck goes in we disallow the goal. Likewise in the NHL we
penalize for too-many-men, especially if it results in a goal.

The Canadian team is somewhat of a joke this year as we're missing
Bourque, Lemieux and Kariya, but I doubt we're going to need any reffing
help to whip any sorry Russian ass :).

    btomko asked about Ozrics:

I recommend JURASSIC SHIFT, ARBORESCENCE, STRANGEITUDE and LIVE UNDERSLUNKY. The first three are found in Best Buy, etc., the fourth is a mail-order item. I got my copy from my prog specialist :), ranjit@netcom.com.

This is by no means a list of the only good Ozrics albums: I have these four and they are ALL quite good, in a groovy background-ambient no-vocals way. :)

Well, the first three that you mentioned are the only three you can get in the u.s. they're on i.r.c. records. the others are on dovetail records, which is the ozric's home label in england.

i have about 8 of their albums. they're "labeled" as acid rock, but hey, i just consider it good stuff.
